This poster has taken inspiration from the harmful processes within the fish industry to illustrate the devastating realities of human trafficking. Like the fish in the ocean, victims of human trafficking are forcefully taken out of their homes and environments in large quantities and then placed in unnatural and uncomfortable conditions to be sold. They go from being free individuals in their natural habitats to enslaved commercial products in a matter of days.

Trafficking and trafficking of women for the purpose of sexual exploitation increases, the victims of traffickers end up trapped in prostitution networks from which they cannot easily escape, they become sexual baits against their will.

FRAGILE | United States

“FRAGILE” is an illustration that represents what is happening today! I created this illustration of this group of persons with barbed wire and during the process the word FRAGILE was on the top of my mind. Visually it gives a full contrast. For me it really communicate what is going on now. And It is a way of create awareness of this crisis.

50% | United States

Children make up roughly 50 percent of all people being trafficked. The white crowd shows the purity and peacefulness of life without trafficking. The two children in black are cut out or missing from the crowd, showing they are being trafficked. Without them, we humans can not be whole. We need to end trafficking to bring back the children and people being used and fill the void that their absence leaves behind.

A distant cry | China

The shadow after the darkness is hanging over the heart of every mother who is unfortunately trafficked. In the darkness, it seems that there are countless pairs of men’s hands coming to them. They feel desperate and struggle hard. They were forced to scream and cry for help. Only the tears and the distant cry were muffled in the silent night.
