Shadows After Dark | Lithuania
Light does not necessarily show what’s hidden. Shadows can consume you even when standing in light.

A work I did by promising hope to people, to draw attention to the human smugglers who brought them to death.
Nowadays, human trafficking is a social concern. From single organ to whole, men and women are mainly sold through the Internet.
This poster is designed with the changes of objects functionality and removing part of them. In the design of this poster, a lock has been used instead of a letter and also a flower has been used in the instead of seal, which the middle part of it has been removed. Here the flower is a symbol of human and the removal of an important part of it represents human trafficking. The lock is also a symbol of security and trust that is related to the subject of the poster, that is, we should be more careful about those we trust. The predominant colors in this poster are black and white that have been selected to suit the theme of the poster (post-dark shadows). The red color of the seal is also showing the word of trafficking.
The poster is inspired by the song, shadow after dark. We tried to express a woman trapped in the shadow. To add depth to the dark shadow, we added textures and prints. We used torn background images specifically to represent how victims are torn away from their families. We also added the handprint following the logo.
I described the last image of those who think people are doing good with the work entitled the and of the road.
I made a poster for shadows after dark, trying to show the seriousness of human trafficking. I tried to put a lot of emotion in my poster, because that is something that get attracted rapidly.
