With my poster I try to work with the of human trafficking theme giving also a familiar touch tho, because I think that the family and all that involves is a very good symbol for represent those good things that makes society better everyday.
I wanted to direct people to be sensitive with the motto of stealing my life to raise awareness of the issue of combating human trafficking.
This Poster is about the victims of human trafficking ,the women and girls.The women who are taken captive for forced labor and sexual issues and promote slavery and experience a life with death.
The red nail polish can be symbol of sex and the influx of sperms into the red nail polish shows that women are worthless and instrumental,also the sperms inside the red nail polish shows the development slavery.
I’ve selected black color for background because it is showing a world full of shadows that are not reliable.
And my goal of designing this poster is to show the dark world of dirty business and the destruction of the lives of people who can live comfortably and safely in beautiful and prosperous Jamaica.
Poster is about how one can save a person just by speaking, communicating provided helpline number. Make people aware about the helpline numbers and experts bring attention to global issues.
Recording to the research，71% of victims of human trafficking are women.Based on this truth,we set a character of a young girl who is trapped in the chains as the main part of the poster.Around the young girl are other women’s hands.It means that women are easy to be cheated by other women and then suffer human trafficking.The color of the background and the hair of the girl is the theme color of Jamaica.The poster express the idea of opposition to human trafficking in a form of simple Illustration.
I described the last image of those who think people are doing good with the work entitled the and of the road.
Light does not necessarily show what’s hidden. Shadows can consume you even when standing in light.
