I hope that after I have emphasized the consequences of human trafficking and advocated the prevention of human trafficking, I hope that people who have been trafficked will yearn for freedom and colorful life even if they are deep in the quagmire.
My series of posters “maze”, combined with the export “exit”, stand in the perspective of the seller and the trafficked, convey their psychological feelings in this tragedy.
In the globalizing World, all people around the World can contact one another and immigrate to a different place to have a better life. But sometimes they cannot achieve the life they dreamed. These people are taken, sold and forced to work in inappropriate jobs. For this reason I used a supermarket trolley because there is a human trade in this World and people are sold without their will.
Airport become important place for human trafficking., they will transport the slaves by airplane. Through the boarding pass we can perceive the danger and save the innocent as soon as possible. National Human Trafficking Awareness Day is recognized annually in the United States on January 11, thus this boarding pass is invalid.
In my design, I putted together the different interpretations that would define our awareness of the global situation. The content of my art has always revolved around my current interests as I am commonly drawing fictional subjects out of an anime, manga, or a graphic novel. By combining the fictional subjects of shadows lurking within the background and an anime character struggling to free themselves from harm, it really weaves together the story to elucidate our awareness of the global situation.

Many people are died every year in human trafficking routes. In the seas, in the deserts, in the mountains, in trucks and containers. This is a global catastrophe.
I started off my research by watching ted talks of victims speak about their exploitation. There was a common thread highlighted by many of them; society thinks of human trafficking as a very remote and outlying subject. Images of hands being tied and mouths being shut are associated with the word ‘human trafficking’, whereas in reality, victims are people just like you and me. They are in houses you walk by or in stores you buy your clothes from. Survivors are socially excluded and labelled which forces them to relapse.
