RESCUE | China

The main body of my work is a cage made of barcodes, and a hand stretched out from the cage, eagerly reaching out to the outside world. The bar code represents “sale”. The cage, like a prison, represents people who have lost their freedom due to human trafficking. The color of the notes outside the cage represents reggae music, which symbolizes hope and hopes to save them and lead a better life.

Peace | Jamaica

“Peace” is what this poster is called because knowingly the after-effects of some of these victims of human trafficking are almost unheard yet still traumatizing. Traumatizing in the sense that some of these effects are with them in memory for the long haul. Traumatizing in one aspect and a lesson learned another creating a lot of agony and fear. Effects such as (PSTD) Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Ostracism, etc. caused by either lack of employment, vulnerability, poverty, or even simple ignorance. This Poster depicts a woman crying her eyes out along with wondering eyes with tied hands behind the text written. The blood represents prolonged violence amongst or women especially whether victims of human trafficking whether survivors and the deceased.

No sale no harm | China

This work is mainly shown through the trading two-dimensional code, in the two-dimensional code, human as clearly priced items appear. The profit of human trafficking is in sharp contrast to the value of a piece of clothing. It is because there is a market demand and profit that the human trade occurs.Fight human trafficking with irony.

Hold On For Help | Turkey

This is my second poster. I thought about the helping people who is struggling. Human trafficking is a serious issue. I thought it is like drowning in the water. You’re trying to survive but it’s taking you down. But a help -like a life saver- can save you from that water. So just hold on for help.

Child Soldier | Israel

Millions of children around the world are happily playing war games with cheap plastic toys, manufactured in a mass prodcution process.
In my work I have chosen to present a toy soldier, taken from a popular and innocent children game.
This toy soldier represent thousands of children which are serving as soldiers in armed conflicts around the world.
“These boys and girls, some as young as 8 years old, serve in government forces and armed opposition groups” (Human Rights Watch.org).

A distant cry | China

The shadow after the darkness is hanging over the heart of every mother who is unfortunately trafficked. In the darkness, it seems that there are countless pairs of men’s hands coming to them. They feel desperate and struggle hard. They were forced to scream and cry for help. Only the tears and the distant cry were muffled in the silent night.
