I combined the “forbidden” symbol with the human head and coin symbols to express my anger at human trafficking!

A work I did by promising hope to people, to draw attention to the human smugglers who brought them to death.
This poster is designed with the changes of objects functionality and removing part of them. In the design of this poster, a lock has been used instead of a letter and also a flower has been used in the instead of seal, which the middle part of it has been removed. Here the flower is a symbol of human and the removal of an important part of it represents human trafficking. The lock is also a symbol of security and trust that is related to the subject of the poster, that is, we should be more careful about those we trust. The predominant colors in this poster are black and white that have been selected to suit the theme of the poster (post-dark shadows). The red color of the seal is also showing the word of trafficking.
I wanted to direct people to be sensitive with the motto of stealing my life to raise awareness of the issue of combating human trafficking.
When I think of human trafficking, there are some human faces come into my mind——some are crying, some are struggling, some are just keeping silent with a numb expression, and they are all trapped. It’s hard for me to tell them apart, because all of them appear in a form which is similar to soul, glowing blue. I draw them down, hoping more people will take notice of this issue and realize that there are lots of victims suffering from it. (In Trapped1 and Trapped4, I show the theme “trapped” through transfigured text.,and in Trapped2 and Trapped3, I use crying face in order to show the pain of the victims.)

This Poster is about the victims of human trafficking ,the women and girls. The women who are taken captive for forced labor and sexual issues and promote slavery and experience a life with death.
The red nail polish can be symbol of sex and the influx of sperms into the red nail polish shows that women are worthless and instrumental, also the sperms inside the red nail polish shows the development slavery.
I’ve selected black color for background because it is showing a world full of shadows that are not reliable.
And my goal of designing this poster is to show the dark world of dirty business and the destruction of the lives of people who can live comfortably and safely in beautiful and prosperous Jamaica.

I’ve selected a shoe and women foot that can be symbol of women and girls and the barbed wire that shows the restraint and the pressure in life . I’ve used yellow color because it is one of the three colors of the Jamaica flag . I’ve put the subject in the middle of the frame and only shows being and a faint shadow that is a sign of distrust but on the other side can be hope for a good life .
