Traffick Jam is a combination of Traffic Jam and Trafficking. The number of people abducted and waiting for trafficking is so large that it is like a traffic jam. The small space of Jam expresses the poor living environment of trafficked people.
The elements of the work are human head and olive branch, and olive branch is the shape of “¥”.The combination of the two fully demonstrates that we should shout the slogan “stop” for the problem of human trafficking and call for the victims to be given the right to personal freedom.
A framed image of vertigo positioned victims forming a line.
In the shadow of darkness, millions of people disappear, die or are trafficked every year around the world. Anyone being trafficked is for profit! They live in hell, and people all over the world should unite to fight against human trafficking.
Human trafficking is an evil trade in the dark.
This poster shows the exploitation and slavery of the people who are treated. At the same time it reflects the smallness to which a life is reduced in exchange for money.
The idea behind my poster is the laughing doll. She’s laughing at the outside but inside she’s crying. I began thinking of women in sexual abuse. They’re suffering so much but you can’t look trough their smile. They’re also trapped, and that’s why there’s a fence in front of the doll(s). Behind the left doll you can see her her shadows. They represent how many faces one person can have. Women in sexual abuse are not themselves. They’re just acting. I worked with pink as head color because it’s typical for barbie dolls. The rest is just black and dark because that’s mysterious.
The human trafficking is a problem that is known to exist but many ignore and no matter where we look this problem, the ones that always get prejudicated are the kids, even when they are not the ones been kidnapped they result affected, the fathers that disappeared leaving their families alone, the mothers that are taken away from their son´s. I wanted to represent that damaged caused to de kids, with a characteristic hat of them adrift in the big ocean, where many have not reached the other side, being kidnapped, or even transported by ocean by their kidnappers.
My poster is about a girl that’s sitting in a car staring through the window. It’s a rainy cold night and she’s scared.
You can see the traffic lights she’s passing by while she’s being transported to work as a sex worker.
