Human trafficking happens in our lives, but we haven’t noticed it. Just like braille, it’s not obvious if it’s looming, and it’s not easy to detect. It needs to be carefully felt to discover it.
My series of posters “maze”, combined with the export “exit”, stand in the perspective of the seller and the trafficked, convey their psychological feelings in this tragedy.
Taking away a person’s faith in humanity, solely for the material benefit of organized criminals. Man is not a commodity!
Use comics to present people being commoditized.
For this design, I wanted to emphasize to the viewer that anyone can be abducted if they are not aware of their surroundings. So I decided the best way to depict that was to show the shadow of an individual being dragged away as the main body continues to move forward. This is to insinuate that someone can be abducted at a moment’s notice. And utilizing a mix of traditional and digital mediums I was able to create a piece that is quite simple, and that I feel educates the viewers to stay safe and be cautious of sketchy areas.

People have been in captivity for centuries, with this significant design, which I criticize people’s seizure of their passports in captivity, in this actual period of time, when the strong crush the weak, seize and even buy for years.
Most kids and teens have a profile on a social networking site. They don’t always make good choices when they follow someone on the site, and this can lead to human trafficking. So it’s important to talk to them about how to use social media wisely.
