Organ trafficking is the unseen form of Human Trafficking and widespread crime.
Children should be free like others. Swinging is children’s freedom, traffickers shouldn’t take away their swings. Red color represents violence and chained child silhouette to a swing represents child trafficking victims.
The inspiration for this work is statistically, human trafficking is likely to be carried out by plane. Therefore, I use the seat map of the olane as the basis, and add the words”help me ” to represent that these victims may be the passengers next to your seat, and you or the flight crew are the first-line helpers.
When the head of one of the most powerful symbols of the human spirit, Leonardo’s Vitruvian man, is replaced by a QR code, the meaning of the image is clear: nowadays people are merchandise to be itemized, sold, smuggled and exploited.
Be careful of the person you trust, be careful, he may be a trafficker.
My poster iteration focuses on spreading awareness of human trafficking and how it affects the victim, being trapped and unable to escape from their situation which is symbolized with the chains around the silhouette of the victim.
Many people are died every year in human trafficking routes. In the seas, in the deserts, in the mountains, in trucks and containers. This is a global catastrophe.
This poster was inspired from my research about Human Trafficking. I was fascinated with the ideas of bar codes but I also wanted to make it a little bit different. Which is why I choose to make the bar code dripping. The phrase I had used came from the song that was given in the competition and I believe the words go nicely with the image. I apologize if my poster seems too simple but I think this shows my style the best and I like it for how it turned out.
