Wang Zhijun is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Academy of Fine Arts of Shanxi University, China. He is currently a member of the Art Academic Committee of Shanxi University, the deputy director of the Institute of Design and Art of Shanxi University, and the director of the art museum. He is a famous undergraduate teacher in ordinary colleges and universities in Shanxi Province, the head of national first-class undergraduate courses, and the winner of the first “China Art Award”, the highest national art award in China. He has won 83 awards in domestic and foreign discipline competitions, including 8 national first prizes. He has presided over 8 national and provincial scientific research projects, published 3 books, and published more than 20 papers.Professor Wang Zhijun is also the vice chairman of the Interior Design Branch of the Architectural Society of China, the director of the Design Education Professional Committee of the China Higher Education Association, the director of the National Higher Art Education Association, and the editorial board member of journals such as Color and Shandong Ceramics. He is also a visiting professor at Yanshan University in China, a visiting professor at the University of Applied Sciences in North Hesse, Germany, and a doctoral supervisor at New Era University College in Malaysia. He has also served as an international judge for many international design competitions such as the Lublin International Poster Biennale in Poland, the A’design Award in Italy, the International Reggae Poster Design Competition (IRPC), and the ESCUCHA MI VOZ Design Competition in Mexico.
