My design wants to represent allegorically the hope and desire to be able to walk through life freely, without fear and leaving behind the dangers of being the object of human trafficking. Hence the title “Road to Freedom”.
Graphically I express it through a close-up of two legs walking towards the horizon. Two hands “break and end” with that state of the danger represented by curtains and broken black chains of which that person manages to get rid by walking towards a happy and fearless future. The word “FREE” is shown on the sole of one of the canvas shoes, leaving its mark on the pavement, walking towards a different reality and a happy future. “You are a mountain, you are a river …”
