Cuban graphic designer and illustrator. In Cuba he worked in the editorial area and for companies broadcasting culture and music. Since 1997, residing in La Paz, Bolivia, where he has served as art director for design firms. In 2003 he won first price in the category of commercial posters, in the 1th Ibero-American Biennial of Posters in La Paz, Bolivia. In 2006 he won first price in the category of unpublished posters, on the theme of Water and Desertification, in the 9th Mexican International Biennial of Posters. Third place (bronze medal) in a autism themed poster contest organized by the association Diversamente Onlus (2009). Also in 2009, he was apointed jury in Internacional Biennial of Posters in La Paz, Bolivia and participated in the Poster for Tomorrow contest, where his work was among the ten finalists. Recently his work was elected to appear in the volume of LATIN AMERICAN GRAPHIC DESIGN, published in 2008 and ILUSTRATION NOW 4, published in 2011 by the German publishing house Taschen.
