After graduating from Tekirdağ Anatolian Fine Arts High School Department of Painting, Onur Aşkın studied graphic design in the Dumlupınar University College of Fine Arts between 2009-2013. He completed his MA degree in Işık University Graduate School of Social Sciences Visual Communication Design with his thesis called “Problems of Visual Communication and Advice for the Applications of Digital Children’s Book in Preschool Education”. In 2015, Aşkın was awarded the first prize at the 22nd International Adana Altın Koza Film Festival Poster Competition organized within the scope of Hürriyet Awards for the Best in Press. His works have been exhibited in a number of museums including Les Arts Decoratifs, Victoria and Albert Museum, and Wilanow Poster Museum. He draws editorial illustrations in Sabit Fikir magazine. He is a member of GMK (Graphic Designers Society) and ITMK (Communication Designers Society)
He continues Graphic Design Proficiency in Art program at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Fine Arts Institute. He is currently working as a lecturer at Dogus University.
